Dental Trainings

The dental training program is offered in a basic and advanced format for dental providers. This course provides in-depth instruction on providing care for children ages 0-20, implementing risk-based care, and protocols for medical-dental integration.

A. Overview of UCLA DTI Local Dental Pilot Project

This is a prerequisite course for all UCLA DTI Training courses. The course provides an overview of the State funded DTI Project, domains, incentives, enhanced reimbursement, and UCLA’s Local Dental Pilot Project.

B. Basic Overview of Pediatric Caries Prevention & Disease Management

This course provides an overview of key components of caries prevention and disease management protocols with the goal of increasing access to preventive services and risk-based care.

Incentive: CE Credit Length: 60 Minutes Format: Online/In-Person

C. Advanced Pediatric Caries Prevention & Disease Management for Dental Providers

This course provides in-depth instruction on providing care for children 0-20 years of age, implementing risk-based care, and promoting continuum of care.

Incentive: CE Credit Length: 8 Hours Format: Online/In-Person
