Operating under the program name “More LA Smiles,” the UCLA Dental Transformation Initiative involves collaboration among a consortium of key Los Angeles stakeholders. The consortium includes Medi-Cal and Denti-Cal health plans, dental and medical professional provider organizations, and community-based organizations dedicated to improving oral health services for 500,000 Los Angeles County children with Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal coverage through participation in this UCLA-led initiative.

The More LA Smiles Sr. Advisory Board, made up of key leadership representing the diversity of consortium partners, serves as an advisory arm of More LA Smiles. The Advisory Board serves as the voice of the consortium partners, helping inform the strategic direction of the program, and helps promote More LA Smiles program offerings to the Board members’ respective organizations and the community at large.
